Hach flow meter service

Field service, calibration and installation for open channel flow metering — by technicians who work on Hach equipment every day.

Field Service & Repair

On-site troubleshooting and repair of Hach flow meters, loggers and sensors. We diagnose bad readings, failed sensors, communication problems and power issues in the field — and carry common parts to fix them on the first trip.

Calibration & Verification

Flow meter calibration and verification against independent measurements, with documentation you can hand to your regulator. Keep permit data defensible and your flow numbers trustworthy.

Installation & Commissioning

Site evaluation, sensor placement, mounting, wiring and programming for new Hach flow metering installations — from a single manhole to a plant-wide network.

Flow Monitoring Studies

Temporary open channel flow monitoring with Hach FL900 loggers for I&I studies, capacity analysis and model calibration. We deploy, maintain, retrieve and deliver clean data.

Preventive Maintenance Plans

Scheduled site visits to clean sensors, swap batteries and desiccant, update firmware and verify accuracy — so meters don't quietly drift until a report is due.

Help choosing the right Hach flow meter for your site, plus quoting, delivery and installation. One contact from selection through startup and ongoing service.

FAQ

Flow meter service questions

Do you service Hach flow meters you didn't sell?

Yes. We service existing Hach installations regardless of where they were purchased, including older loggers and sensors still in the field.

How often should a flow meter be calibrated?

Most permits and best practices call for at least annual verification, and more often for high-consequence sites. Many clients pair calibration with quarterly or semi-annual maintenance visits.

Can you work in manholes and confined spaces?

Yes. Our crews follow confined-space entry procedures with gas monitoring, ventilation and retrieval equipment. Many Flo-Dar and FL900 sites require it.

Do you provide documentation for regulators?

Every calibration includes a service report with as-found and as-left readings, verification method and recommendations.
